Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This website (thehashmasks.xyz) is a community-built interface for the Hashmasks NFT collection. We take your privacy seriously and this page explains exactly what data we collect and why.
What we collect
We collect only anonymous visit counts — a simple number that increments each time a page loads. No IP addresses, no cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-session tracking. The counter is stored on our servers and cannot be linked back to any individual.
What we do not collect
- No personal data (name, email, address)
- No IP addresses or geolocation
- No cookies for tracking or advertising
- No browser fingerprinting
- No data sold or shared with third parties for marketing
Local storage
We use your browser's localStorage to remember your pinned mask and wallet preferences. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Wallet connection
If you choose to connect a wallet, we read your public Ethereum address to display your Hashmasks collection. We do not store your address on our servers, request signatures, or initiate transactions without your explicit action.
Third-party services
This site interacts with the following external services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare — hosting and edge network
- Alchemy — Ethereum blockchain data
- OpenSea — NFT sales and metadata
- Dexscreener — NCT token price data
- Etherscan — on-chain transaction links
- Google Fonts — typography (fonts loaded from Google's CDN)
Your rights
Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal profile to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about this policy, you can reach us via the community Discord.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, we will update this page with a new date at the top.
